Do you organise group visits or activities in Quebec? AlpacAdore is the perfect destination for your agrotourism activities. Only 45 minutes from Montreal and 15 minutes from the USA border, we are available to entertain you any time of the year.

Come see what everyone is talking about! Our guided tours offers a complete experience to discover the basics of alpaca farming as well as alpaca fibre transformation.

Our guided tours takes place in a leisurely atmosphere where the owners, Elisabeth and Luc, explain the basics about raisinfg and breeding alpacas and the transformation of their alpacas fibre. Their passion will captivate you!

Alpaca 101: Origin, lifespan, maturity, production, feed, husbandry... and much more!

Alpaca Fibre Studio: The basics on shearing, sorting, washing, picking, blending, carding, artistic creation, felting and finishing touches. All steps are done here and will be explained. You will see and feel different qualities of alpaca fibre and the finished products that they are suited for. Alpacas don't all produce fibre that is of equal quality... recognizing this difference results in the creation of high quality products!

Group size: Minimum of 5 participants, maximum 50.

Access: The touring area being on flat land, our facilities are accessible to all. Furthermore, situated at the corner of a main route, you will avoid having to take any dirt roads, a clear advantage for motorcycles and convertibles.

Parking: You have access to our large paved parking that can accommodate a dozen vehicles in addition to our grassy area that can accommodate as much. A second entrance leads to another grassy reserved parking for buses and large vehicles to suit your needs.

Time to plan for the visit: 1.5 to 3 hours depending on group size and desire to learn! The guided tours each take approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on your questions and group interaction. Plan some free time to chat and read through our informative displays while observing the alpacas.

Shopping: Of course you must reserve some time to shop for souvenirs, you'll regret it if you don't. We have a large choice of products for every taste and every budget. You will find several products created in Quebec right here on our farm as well as a selection of high quality imported alpaca products.

See you soon!
